# Filter: gk/lookup/validation/bypass-user-limit

Controls whether submitted values may link records outside "Show only entries created by current user".

## Parameters

| Name | Type | Description |
|------|------|-------------|
| $bypass_user_limit | `bool` | Whether to accept records created by other users. Default: true for users who can edit entries, scheduled jobs, cron runs and WP-CLI. |
| $field | `\Field` | The Lookup field being validated. |
